WE ARE DIFFERENT!

What we do (see What we don't do at end of page)

Riding Lessons

Nearly all our lessons are either private or shared so that every rider, progresses at their own speed, regardless of age, ability and previous experience. We take riders of all ages and abilities from 4 years upwards.

Through our Grading System, all riders receive a thorough grounding in the basics before going on to more difficult things.

We are pleased to accommodate special needs riders.

We offer a group jump lesson (maximum of 4 riders) on Saturday mornings. For more details ring the office.

Horse Care Lessons

As well as the courses, private or shared instruction is available on a "one off" basis. Subjects such as clipping and loading are always popular. All our animals are quiet to handle and are excellent instructors themselves!

Exam Training

As well as courses, we offer private or shared lessons for all the BHSAI exams:

- Horse care (Stages 1, 2 & 3)
- Riding (Stages 1, 2 & 3),
- Lungeing (Stages 2 & 3)
- Teaching (Preliminary Teaching Test)

Exam candidates can pick subjects where they feel weak or need more practical experience.

This training takes place between 9.30 a.m. and 3.30 p.m. on weekdays. Sessions lasting for an hour or more receive a discount, usually 10% but 15% in December and January. Sessions are paid for on the day.

We can recommend reasonably-priced B & Bs for anyone wanting intensive training over several days.

Vouchers for lessons

We provide vouchers which can be given as presents.
